Win a Manchester United shirt signed by Edwin van der Sar

20 October 2013   Jeff Bell   Club News

My name is Kerstin Maslen, mum of Patrick who plays in the Petone Rovers – grade 10.

Next month I will be participating in a bike ride called the Ride to Conquer Cancer 2013 to raise funds for cancer research benefiting the Cancer Society Auckland's research centre. I will be cycling more than 200 kilometres over a 2 day period. As part of this I have agreed to take part in fundraising activities for this great cause as I have personally been affected by cancer as I lost my own mother to it when she was only 48.

In the space of 4 weeks since I signed up to this ride I have managed to raise $4355 in donations to date which is fantastic; however I am keen to raise more and have therefore put together the following fundraiser and I am hoping for your support.

Buy a raffle ticket and go in the draw to win a signed Manchester United goalkeeper shirt signed by and with a personal message from Edwin van der Sar.

Previously a goalkeeper for Manchester United, Juventus, Fulham and Ajax - Edwin is considered by critics and fellow team mates as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. Edwin has kindly agreed to sign a Manchester United shirt for me with a personal message to the winner on the shirt. To show this is the real deal, a photo will be taken of Edwin signing the shirt which you will receive as well!

1 ticket is $5 or 5 for $20

To go in the draw please make a donation to in favour of my name, Kerstin Maslen (you can also view my personal page on link below when clicking on the "donate" link) by no later than Sunday 3rd November. Mention "shirt" in the comments field for a personal message and ensure your email details / phone number are captured. I will then advise you on the raffle number detail by email.

All you need to enter is a credit card to make a donation to Conquer Cancer in my name.
