Petone FC Senior Coaching Positions for 2016

Are you interested in coaching Senior Men for the 2016 season? We have two great opportunities to coach at highly competitive levels.

Petone FC – Senior Reserves

Our Men’s second team is critical to the club and currently plays in Capital One - it’s a tough league and only two leagues down from top level local football. It is a pipeline for youth players to grow and develop, while also preparing them to step into first team positons, week to week. We are seeking a good club person for this role as they understand the importance of this team to Petone and Men’s football overall. They must also have a good affinity with youth and be able to offer our young players the coaching required to grow. In addition to coaching, communication to players and other coaches, along with talent identification skills are critical to success.

Petone FC – Men’s Fourth Team

Establishing a Men’s fourth team was a goal in the club in 2015. We now need a good organiser who can pick up the reigns of this team to keep it growing and be competitive. It is the gateway for young players into senior football and also provides the opportunity for older players who want to play at a good level and contribute on the park. The team plays in Capital Three, which is a strong league with teams from Kapiti and Wairarapa, so there are a few away games. Weekly coordination of players is vital to get stability and being resourceful with players is paramount.
