23 February 2014   Jeff Bell   Senior News

The first full day of the 2014 Caltex Railway Avenue Tournament for the Hilton Petone Cup kicked off with a couple of perhaps surprising results. Last night Stop Out A put 6 goals past Upper Hutt City A at Maidstone. Today saw Marist A and Miramar Rangers play out a stalemate and Olympic hit double figures against Capital Premier newcomers Seatoun.

The First Team started things off with a 2-0 win over Victoria University. The goals coming from Anu Singe with a low hard drive and Craig Alderdice powering one home with the head.

The Second Team have their opening game tomorrow night at 6:15pm. Come on down after work and cheer on the lads as they take on Stokes Valley.
